The area of open warehouses on the territory of the VMTP is 205,723.2 m², and the area of covered warehouses is 49,763.3 m² in the operating area and 59,791.9 m² in the rear area. The total length of railway lines in the port is more than 17 km.

The port has a service structure corresponding to world standards, which includes stevedoring, agency, forwarding, towing, survey, tally and other companies. The fleet entering the port of Vladivostok is provided with a full range of modern services.

Vladivostok container terminal

The Vladivostok container terminal began its work in 1983 at berths No. 16 and No. 17.

In August 2003, VKT LLC was founded on the basis of the container terminal.

Today VKT LLC is a major container operator.

Transshipment volumes at VKT are increasing every year.

According to the results of 2006, the terminal's container turnover amounted to 147,100 TEU, and according to the results of 2007, it was already 199,650 TEU;

The Vladivostok container terminal has all the necessary modern handling equipment and equipment for high-quality handling of containers and general cargo in the shortest possible time. Modern computer equipment allows for full accounting and control of container cargo turnover.

Geographically, the Vladivostok Container Terminal is located on the first kilometer of the Trans-Siberian Railway, which makes it possible to connect the cargo flows of the regions of Russia, the CIS and Europe with the cargo flows of Southeast Asia (Korea, China, Vietnam), North America, the ports of Kamchatka, Sakhalin and Chukotka. The total area of the CGT today is 13 hectares.

LLC "VKT" provides a full range of stevedoring services from loading and unloading sea vessels, railway cars and vehicles to short-term storage of containers. Berths

The length of the berth line of berth No. 15 is 42 m, berths No. 16, 17 - 361 m. The depth of the berth line is 11.6 m. The berths allow handling container ships with a draft of up to 11.1 m. Simultaneous mooring at the berths of two vessels is possible . Estimated throughput - 150,000 TEU per year.

Warehouses

The total area of open storage areas is about 37 thousand m2. The sites are divided into 8 zones according to specialization.

Warehouse area - zones A, B, C, G (20.16 thousand m2) about 280 m long.

The main purpose of zones A, B is the warehousing of containers for export, part of zones B is customs.

The purpose of zones C, D is import with shipment to trucks, part of zone C is specialized for refrigerated containers with a capacity of 120 units.

The purpose of warehouse zones T1 and T2 with an area of 10.92 thousand m2 is the processing of imports and empty containers, in the zone T1, customs clearance is also serviced. Here, containers are loaded onto vehicles.

In zones E, G of a warehouse with an area of 5.9 thousand m2, adjacent to the railway. cargo front, containers are placed for shipment to the railroad and local transport vehicles, customs inspection of imported containers is carried out in zone G.

Automobile transport

In the development of the cargo traffic of the terminal, the share of vehicles is 80%.

Entry/exit of vehicles to the territory of the terminal is carried out from the side of the port, equipped with a checkpoint and container scales and the second entrance, in the rear of the access railway. way to the terminal, is also equipped with a second checkpoint and container scales. This makes it possible to organize roundabout traffic through the terminal with entry from the second checkpoint and exit through the first checkpoint.

Railway transport

The share of rail transport is 20%.

The railway cargo front of the terminal consists of two cargo railways. tracks with a length of about 180 m each (served by two RMGs), and one freight track of a complete warehouse designed to handle covered railways. wagons.
