Glossary - Definition of terms related to certification
Euro-3 conformity certificate,4- a document that certifies that the car imported into the territory of the Russian Federation meets the requirements of the Technical Regulations of Rostekhregulirovanie "On the requirements for emissions of harmful (polluting) substances by automotive equipment manufactured in circulation on the territory of the Russian Federation." This means that the machine complies with the Euro-3 environmental class. or Euro 4.
Information mail- is a clipping from the legislation, saying that this or that product does not fall into the "Nomenclature of products of goods and services subject to mandatory certification." A form for a refusal letter is not required - an A4 sheet is used. Any list of products can be included in one letter of refusal, the main thing is that the holder of the letter is one legal entity. The validity of the letter of refusal does not exceed a year, but certification bodies may issue letters for a shorter period, and also not indicate the validity period at all.
Product certification- this is a procedure for confirming the compliance of products with certain requirements established for it: safety, electromagnetic compatibility, etc. Certification is carried out by organizations independent of the manufacturer, supplier and seller, accredited by the relevant committees, agencies and departments.
GOST-R Certificate of Conformity- is a document that confirms the compliance of products with the quality and safety requirements established for these products by the current standards and rules (GOST, GOST R, GOST R IEC, GOST R ISO, etc.). A GOST R certificate of conformity for products can be issued only if additional certification documents necessary for this product are available: a hygienic certificate, a veterinary certificate, a fire safety certificate, etc. The numbers of the documents listed above are entered into the GOST R certificate of conformity. Certification can be both mandatory and voluntary.
Certificate of State Registration (SGR) or formerly called Hygienic Conclusion (SEZ)- a document confirming the permission of the bodies and institutions of the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the production or import of products that meet the established requirements and serve as an official confirmation of the safety of products for human health under certain conditions. The hygienic conclusion is issued for up to 5 years.
